Who are the Dirt Heroes?

The Dirt Heroes were formed as a collective of musicians set to let their art flow freely and not be placed into specific categories by the music industry. They took their creative open style to the underground and began to release songs via Twitter, MySpace, and Youtube. Among the groups members are vocalists Astari Nexa, Jesus Downey, Jr., and producers/vocalists Yohan SubAshy'n Blach and Universal Moses Lite-Foot The Composer.

The Heroes combine musical genres and often infuse two or more unlikely styles together to create their songs. They also don't release albums, instead they release "chronicles" a series of 3 to 6 songs that appeal to a specific mood or idea. The Dirt Heroes rely heavily on imagery to tell stories with their music often attempting to draw the listeners in with cinematic style production. They cover a wide subject area touching on feel-good tracks, political issues, pop culture, art, and science. The group also operates off of a vastly exaggerated time line speaking in first person detail about Ancient Egypt and far distant future.

DIRT HEROES ARE DEFINITELY THE GROUP TO WATCH!!
